How does a limited Adwords budget affect my daily presence in Google, and the number of clicks I receive?
Google will not allow you to spend more than your daily budget limit that you set directly in your Adwords campaign. Let’s say you’re running a $5/day budget in Google – this means that $5 is the maximum amount you’re allowing Google to allocate to clicks every day.
Now let’s say that your average cost per click (CPC) is $3.40. If you get one click in the morning that costs you $3.40, your ads may not show again the rest of the day, as another click might put you over the budget limitations you’ve provided to Google. This means that you might not receive more than one click on any given day, and you risk losing your ad presence early in the day. A larger budget will allow you a longer ad presence in Google each day, and receive more clicks to your PPC ads overall.
