The best sites are made when there is healthy collaboration between our team and yours. We know the automotive business and can provide you a well-built website that works and that will make your phone ring. But at the beginning of the process, we don’t know how your shop fits into the history of your community. We don’t know that your office manager bakes fresh cookies for your customers, or that the shop mascot is your pet “wonder dog.” Our account managers will ask a lot of questions to learn more about your business, but, unfortunately, we can’t read minds (as strong as the Force may be in our office), and we rely on you to disclose as much as you can. What will really set your website design apart from the competition are the small, personal touches that reflect your personality and what makes your shop special.
Has your shop been a staple in the community for years? Share some of that history with us! We’d love to use some fun anecdotes and images, not only on your website, but also sharing it with your followers through your social media accounts. Remember that the work isn’t done when your website goes live! Keep your account manager up to date on what is new in your shop’s world. We love to hear about events and any interesting repair cases, or put new photos to use. By touching base, we can keep your marketing efforts fresh and your news feed filled with unique and engaging content.
Does your shop have great decor? Have some professional photos taken, and send them on over! When customers visit your website, they’ll see that your shop has personality and that they will be comfortable while waiting. Even if you don’t have the greatest looking building, photos of your team will make your website more authentic and personable than using stock photos. It will also start to build trust as customers are able to see who will be taking care of their cars. If you’d like a few pointers for taking your own photos, take a look at some of our suggestions here.
O’Donnell’s Auto & Truck Repair came to us for a complete website and brand overhaul. Through our discussions with the O’Donnell family, we gained a solid understanding of their goals that not only fulfilled their vision, but allowed our team to try new techniques. Our designer created a logo system that was flexible enough to use in multiple layouts and platforms, while still unifying the brand. With this scalable logo, our developers used custom navigation functionality that we hadn’t used in any previous clients. Another custom feature was the emphasis on illustrations. The O’Donnell’s wanted their potential clients to know what to expect when they visited the shop and ease any reservations they might have. Our designer translated this into a unique timeline that shows the step by step process of a customer’s journey at their repair shop, which is a great way to visually break up content and keep it engaging.
We love to make you look good. In fact, it’s our favorite thing. One of your customers’ biggest concerns when looking for a repair shop is finding a place that they trust. So tell us a little of what makes you tick, and we can help show your customers that you are real people and start building their trust before they even walk in the door.
