6 Tips for Creating Share-Worthy Content - Autoshop Solutions

With the recent changes in Facebook’s News Feed algorithm, quality, share-worthy content is more important than ever. Here’s our list for creating the best content possible!

1. Know (and Talk to) Your Audience

SHARE!

Doing your research and knowing your clients are very important when it comes to your content creation. Knowing how to talk to your audience is very important – are the content you choose and words you use relevant to your audience? Pick topics your audience wants to or needs to know about, and make sure you’re using language they relate to.

2. Use Images and Videos

Our eyes are automatically drawn to images and videos when scrolling through our News Feeds, so include them to make your posts stand out. Just make sure your images are relevant to and support your content. It’s easy to get carried away with focusing too much on the image, when you should be focusing on the content as a whole.

3. Keep a Consistent Voice

The voice of your brand is important to figure out. You have to keep in mind who you’re talking to, but also consider your shop’s brand personality (remember why you should define and focus your brand personality here). The voice you’re using to write your content plays a big part in branding.

4. Show Why You’re the Expert

Improve your credibility by showing your audience that you’re an expert in your field. Posting interesting articles can show you’re involved in your industry and demonstrating that you’re on top of the latest trends.

5. Show them You Care

‘Help them, help themselves’ is what I like to say. Share a little tip your customers can do to help them maintain their cars in between visits. They will appreciate the advice, coming from a trusted source, and that trust will continue to build.

6. Edit Your Posts

This may sound obvious, but I see poor grammar in posts all the time. True, you are allowed to bend the rules a bit when it comes to posting on social media – go ahead and put that extra exclamation mark. But it’s important to keep in mind that you are representing your brand, so try to make sure everything is spelled correctly.

Keep in mind…

These are not the only things that make great, share-worthy content, but they are some good things to keep in mind. Creating good content takes time.
